Unit 07 and 63- Cinema 4D

This is my race track that I for my apocalyptic themed race course. It lacks detail as it was my first ever race track. However I recreated the shape from a section within Bromley’s area, I found using Cinema 4D challenging as it is complicated in certain areas, but I plan on improving my skills within the future by practising.

I Started of creating this track by placing my chosen area of bromley as the background so I could trace the tracks shape. I went to the top perspective, went into options and clicked on configure to bring up another menu.Screen Shot 2016-02-25 at 15.30.21

I then went into the view port section, then clicked on back and selected my chosen Google map screenshot and placed it into Cinema 4D in order to start tracing using the bezier tool.

After tracing my chosen area of the map, I removed the image of the map to reveal my race tracks shape. Finally I connected the rectangle object to a sweep and connected the spline to the rectangle in order to create the 3D racing track.
