Unit 03 and 53-Animatic

I shall be explaining how I am creating an animatic from using my Warburtons storyboard.

My drawn out story board was scanned and was opened in Adobe Photoshop, using the lasso tool an area of the drawing was selected as it is going to be animated with movement.

Using the Clone Stamp the person on the background layer was removed from the scene as the person has already been duplicated in its own layer in order to create movement. Holding the Alt key and clicking to select a copying area and then using the tool on an area will duplicated the copied area. Using the tool removed the character from the scene as if she was never drawn.

Opening up the photoshopped scene in Adobe After Effect, importing the file into After Effect ensuring that the composition preset is set to HDV/HDTV 720 29.97, along with setting the composition to retain layer size.

Using the healing brush tool was perfect for erasing characters from the scene so they can move across without their copies in the background. However the stick men animatics were my first practice one.
